Stefanie Langsam has been working with private sector, non-profit and Federal Government clients for over 20 years, and still delights in collaborating with clients to improve citizen interactions and service delivery. With a particular passion for being directly connected to the end customer through contact center operations and customer self-service, Stefanie considers working with the original Department of Justice September 11th Victim Compensation Fund her most personally and professionally rewarding experience. As a Project Manager, Stefanie witnessed first-hand the vital role the Fund – and those who interacted with the families of victims - had in the lives of people impacted by the tragic events of that day. Stefanie is honored to be working on the re-opened Fund as a member of the leadership team.
A native Washingtonian, Stefanie holds an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, and graduated cum laude from Towson State University, earning a B.S. in Business Administration and Fine Arts. An active member of her community, she served for several years on the Board of Directors of a local homeless shelter, including one year as Secretary and one year as President. She lives in Maryland with her husband and daughter – her two highest-priority customers.
SGLC was born from a commitment to exceeding client expectations and delivering consistently excellent results. Its founder, Stefanie Langsam, spent nine years with IBM Business Consulting Services prior to starting her own company. As an Associate Partner, she experienced firsthand the challenges of meeting client expectations when working within the construct of a large organization. And so in 2006, she set out to leverage her broad-based management and operational experience in a more personal environment where she could ensure a commitment to excellence, a measurable impact, and a focus on client-driven solutions. Today, having worked with more than 19 different Federal Agencies and organizations, SGLC is proud of a record of customer satisfaction, an ongoing commitment to excellence, and our ability to deliver results that make a difference to end users.
